Unlucky 13 is the 13th book in Patterson’s Women’s Murder Club series. The book looks at a detective who seems to have a perfect life with a new baby and a fulfilling job. However, her former nemesis resurfaces and seems bent on revenge. She must protect her family while trying to preempt the moves of her nemesis.
Perhaps the most popular Patterson book is Kiss the Girls, part of the Alex Cross series. The novel, which follows a reporter looking at a series of murders in Los Angeles, was turned into a successful motion picture starring Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd.
